One Simple Action

Prevention begins with one simple action: signing the Freedom Declaration for Peace. But signing is only the beginning.

The next step is participation.

PByT provides a way for ordinary Australians to participate directly in the discussion around Australia's National Plan and the practical issues that could produce immediate and tangible results.

Unlike comments, likes, petitions and conventional online debate, PByT feedback is structured to be verifiable, analysable and therefore actionable. It enables public opinion to become evidence that governments, researchers, journalists and the wider community can examine and act upon.

The goal is not to replace government, experts or the work already being done. It is to bring another enormous resource into the process: the Australian people themselves.

If ending domestic violence requires a whole-of-society response, then society needs a practical way to participate.
