Fusion Party Invitation & Proposal

The greatest change in how Australia is governed since Federation

At the upcoming federal election, the Fusion Party has an opportunity to drive real and sustainable change by being the first political party to support open democracy.

Through a promotional partnership, the Fusion Party can be featured on our front page under the following headline (say):

The Fusion Party is making history ...

by ushering in the greatest change in how Australia is governed since Federation.

The Fusion Party is the first political party to give all Australians a greater say in government decisions through open democracy.

Vote for real and sustainable change.
Vote Fusion Party.

All the Fusion candidates can be listed on our front page with links to their profile pages.

Mainstream media attention

The best way to attract mainstream media attention is through feedback on the key issues listed on the front page.

The verifiable and analyzable nature of the feedback will provide the basis for interesting and thought-provoking articles, beyond the inane announcements and antics of the major parties and by those at the extremes.

Members can vote and discuss the issues already listed on the front page. This will encourage others to join and to do the same. As the feedback grows so will the attention of the media. This will drive traffic to our site and each visit will build the profile of Fusion and the Fusion candidates.

Candidates can also add the questions, issues and concerns for debate, discussion and voting, further building their profiles.

Fusion is the future

The upcoming federal election provides Fusion with the opportunity to build its brand as the party of the future, as well as a real opportunity to get Fusion candidates elected into parliament.

The promotional partnership will be activated each time there is an election, ideally starting with the upcoming federal election, but also during local council elections and state elections. This will position Fusion well for the Victorian and South Australian state elections due in 2026.

Fusion and a hung parliament

The most likely outcome of the federal election will be a hung parliament at a time of great uncertainty and global economic turmoil.

Even with no elected candidates, Fusion can play an instrumental role in policy-making by putting up issues and questions for debate and discussion through open democracy, in line with its stated goal of empowering communities and fostering "deliberative democracy across our society."

The process will continuously build the Fusion brand.

Where to now?

The concept of open democracy provides a simple and efficient way of deciding the way forward by putting the following question to Fusion members and supporters.

The Fusion Party should support the concept of open democracy, at least tentatively in the lead up to the upcoming federal election and more fully later, as an integral part of its policy platform, through debate, discussion and voting? (Agree/Disagree)

This question is a good starting point to understanding how open democracy can work both at a local level and, more broadly, on a global level through feedback on the key issues and questions listed on the front page.

Open democracy can now be part of the fusion ...
