Base question: Should Australia Include Nuclear Power in its' Energy Mix?

Underlying the nuclear debate is a perception that Australia's future energy needs can be met solely through renewable energy, primarily solar and wind.

A simple calculation shows this as an impossibility, at least in the near future.

Is 100% renewable energy a pipe-dream or a realistic future prospect for Australia?
