Premium Member Revenue Sharing
Funding Independent Journalism
The Revenue Sharing Program is designed to provide Premium Members with a financial incentive to expand public participation.
By publishing content, raising questions and inviting others to contribute their views, Premium Members can potentially reach global audiences and build a recurring income stream.
The more new participants an author attracts, the greater their potential earnings.
This creates an opportunity to combine public service, independent journalism and economic reward.
Every Premium Member receives a Revenue Share Account (RSA).
When a PByT member responds to a published feedback questions for the first time, they are allocated to the author's Revenue Share Account, provided they have not already been allocated to another author.
Each participating member can be allocated to only one Revenue Share Account.
This rewards authors who reach new audiences, build trusted communities and encourage meaningful participation in public life.
Importantly, revenue sharing rewards participation — not particular opinions or political positions.
Premium Members earn US$2 per month for every 10 qualifying members allocated to their Revenue Share Account.
Your potential monthly earnings grow as more members are allocated to your account.

(All amounts are in USD.)
Payments are made monthly through Stripe, provided the Premium Membership remains active and the account remains in good standing.
Annual revenue-sharing payments are capped at $1 million per author (indexed for inflation), helping maintain the program's sustainability and enabling broader participation.
The Revenue Share Account offers an opportunity to develop a recurring income stream while helping expand public participation and strengthening the human values on which civil society depends.
Earnings are not guaranteed and are subject to the program's eligibility requirements and terms.
