Disband the UN?
Should the UN be disbanded because it is no longer fit for purpose
Background: Project Open Democracy
The UN was created in the aftermath of WWII as a global forum for dialogue that would prevent a repeat of similar, distructive wars.
Given the global turmoil, it is becoming increasingly clear that the UN is not only incapable of fulfilling its original charter, it has become a bloated, biased and politized tool of the five permanent members with veto rights.
The United Nations should be disbanded because we now have the technology to transition and implement the concept of Open Democracy, on a global scale, to prevent war and conflict? (AGREE/DISAGREE)

About PByT Surveys & Open Democracy
The PByT surveys represent a rolling snapshot of global sentiment from real people whose identity has been verified. The results can be analyzed in a variety of ways to get a better understanding of key issues utilizing Bayesian statistics - a mathematical concept that updates beliefs in light of new data or evidence.
As a result, these surveys have the potential to be the most definitive resources on some of the most critically important issues of modern times and serve as the basis for the idea of "open democracy."
Have your say and help shape the interconnected world of tomorrow based on trust, mutual-aid and cooperation.
