Middle East: A People-Led 10 Point Peace Plan
From Endless Wars and Injustice to Shared Security
The wars in Ukraine and Gaza have shaken the world and exposed the failures of old institutions to resolve conflict. Instead of peace, we see endless cycles of violence, propaganda, and division.
Yet people everywhere share the same hope: an end to killing, an end to destruction, and the chance to build a better future.
Open democracy offers a fresh approach by recognizing that in each conflict there are not one, but two wars:
- The battle for the mind—the war of narratives.
- The physical war on the ground.
Open Democracy in combination with the Global Social Capital Fund and the Freedom Declaration for Peace offers a fresh and realistic approach to achieving peace in the Middle East. (AGREE/DISAGREE)
